- An insurer
- A broker
- A credit bureau
- A legal, tax, accounting or investment adviser

5. Your account
You must:
- Provide complete and accurate information
- Keep information current
- Protect passwords, PINs and verification codes
- Prevent unauthorised device access
- Notify us promptly of suspected misuse
- Use only your own identity and authorised accounts
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless the activity resulted from a failure for which Collect is legally responsible. We may require additional verification before processing a sensitive instruction.
6. Savings and payments
Collect may help initiate, evidence, reconcile or display contributions.
Customer funds are held or processed through licensed financial institutions or payment providers.
- Partner confirmation
- Settlement
- Reconciliation
- Compliance checks
- Reversal
- Error correction
You must verify payment references and notify us promptly if a record appears incorrect. Collect ledger information does not replace the official account record held by the regulated financial institution.
7. Group savings
- Follow the group’s approved rules
- Make contributions according to the agreed schedule
- Respect group decisions
- Provide accurate payment references
- Review statements and report errors
- Avoid coercion, fraud or misuse of group funds
- Act within their authority
- Apply group rules consistently
- Protect member information
- Avoid unauthorised withdrawals or changes
- Maintain appropriate approvals
- Disclose conflicts of interest
- Transfer administrative control when required
Collect may provide technology and records but does not replace the group’s governance obligations.
8. Group collateral
Where a partner bank offers a group-backed loan:
- The bank determines eligibility
- The group must approve the collateral arrangement
- The pledged amount and enforcement rules must be documented
- The individual borrower remains responsible for repayment
- Pledged group savings may be applied following default
- Members must understand the potential loss before consenting
Saving through Collect does not automatically create collateral or guarantee credit. Collect will not describe savings as pledged until the partner bank and relevant group have completed the required documentation.
9. Credit Readiness-as-a-Service
- Capturing the financing need
- Mapping product requirements
- Identifying document gaps
- Organising documents
- Coordinating professional services
- Preparing an application summary
- Packaging a file for partner review
- Credit approval
- A promise of funding
- A credit score issued by a credit bureau
- Legal, accounting or tax advice
The partner bank conducts its own analysis and may request additional information.
10. AI-assisted services
- Guidance
- Document classification
- Checklist generation
- Data extraction
- Consistency checks
- Draft summaries
- Security monitoring
AI output may contain errors and must be reviewed.
You remain responsible for checking information before submission. Collect may require human review before handing a file to a partner.
Collect does not use AI as the final authority for loan approval, insurance underwriting or claims decisions.
11. Professional service providers
- Accountants
- Bookkeepers
- Business-plan specialists
- Notaries
- Tax advisers
- Valuers
- Lawyers
- Registration providers

Unless expressly stated, these providers are independent. Collect is not responsible for professional advice delivered independently by the provider, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
12. Loans
- KYC and compliance requirements
- Credit assessment
- Affordability analysis
- Collateral requirements
- Pricing
- Terms
- Approval
- Disbursement
- Collection and recovery procedures
Deleting Collect, leaving a savings group or changing a telephone number does not cancel a loan. You must read and accept the partner lender’s agreement before borrowing.
13. Insurance
Insurance products are issued by licensed insurers.
- Eligibility
- Pricing
- Policy wording
- Underwriting
- Exclusions
- Claims decisions
- Claims payment
Collect may support product discovery, premium workflows, digital records, reminders and claims notification. A premium payment does not create cover until confirmed according to the insurer’s terms.
14. Diaspora services
Diaspora savings are separate from remittances.
- Members save through a regulated host-country partner bank
- The partner bank holds the savings
- Collect maintains the group ledger and workflow
- An agreed amount may be pledged under bank-approved documentation
- The partner bank assesses eligible borrowers individually
- Approved capital may be used for permitted investments
Product availability depends on the host country and partner bank. Collect does not guarantee a particular secured interest rate, credit amount or investment outcome.
15. Fees
Collect will display applicable fees before you accept a paid service.
- Credit-readiness fees
- Professional-service fees
- Partner-product fees
- Currency-conversion fees
- Payment-provider charges
- Bank or insurer charges
A zero-fee savings statement applies only to the specific user charge described. Mobile operators, banks or other providers may impose separate charges unless waived under the product terms.

- Correct an operational error
